My girlfriend had their so called tech come to the house 6/21 /25, he trampled her flowers just to break his meter out and tell her your ac is fried, $7000 to replace, called her nephew the next day, he fixed a burnt wire end ( it gave no reading), trimmed it and bam works like new. They charged $250, to work 10 minutes , trample flowers and leave everything unhooked. Never again will they rob me of my money or time, lousy tech and service. Ps ac is 1997 works fine

Horrible customer service. Worse follow through. Poor Management and Leadership.We called Dor Mar because we were having issues with our heater. Here is a timeline of what happened on the days they came:--Feb 21: They came but the technicians didn't do anything because they didn't know what to do.--Feb 26: They came and broke the heater. They admitted to it, which led to further issues. The bigger issue is that we had no heat after that for several days. I called Dor Mar three times after that to get them to urgently come and make repairs.--Feb 28: They said they would come and fix the issues but no one from Dor Mar came. So I called again.--Mar 1: A technician came and started to fix things. At that time, gas started leaking and smelling throughout the house. Therefore, he stopped the work and left the house. So i called again and asked for someone to come who knows what they are doing.--Mar 3: They finally came and fixed the issues. Heat didn't start working again until Mar 3.During that time frame, employees Dave, Trevon, and Brad from Dor Mar because each of them worked on our house and not only did it take several tries, in between that time it caused us inconvenience from Feb 21 to Mar 3 because we didn't have heat and the day of the gas leak we had to open all windows/doors in the entire house and air it out. This was all happening during a time when the weather was cold!!!I called their operations manager 3 times with no response and emailed them 2 times with no response. I would pay the bill but I was asking for a discount or some compensation for the gross negligence caused by lack of heat, and gas leakage. They provided no discount, no apologies for the issues caused, and no response to any of my inquiries.To this day, no one called me back. No one emailed me back. Instead, they kept sending me invoices every few days for the full amount to pay them which was close to $2000.I am disappointed in their customer service. I would summarize them as have poorly trained technicians and staff, and even worse management and leadership etiquette. I would never recommended them and hope people read my review before considering them.

We have been a customer for over 20 years and they have gone to trash over the past couple of years. Billing for services not rendered, not taking care of warranty issues, improper installation practices, up charges due to their own improper installs that do not match manufacture's requirements for warranty. Even the techs they send out says that service manager (Cody) and operations department (Stacy) are a large part of the issue. Had techs sent out multiple times and service gave them improper reason why they were here. Then argued with tech audibly that what the tech observed was incorrect. This happened on more than (5) service calls about our faulty water heater they installed. Called and spoke to management and was promised an audience with the Operations Manger regarding our issues, never happened. There are many companies that provide the same services and will not try to defeat your trust and wallet at the same time.

I have given DorMar 5 stars in the past, so I'm not sure what has changed but it's not the same. I have a 3 yr service contract which includes hot water tank, furnace & AC check once a year. The last 2 years had gone well until today. I was unaware they now have plumbers that check only the HW tank. It was not communicated that only the HW tank was to be done today. In the past 2 of the 3 services were done together. I purchased a new HW tank on 5/19 & I didn't need it checked. I was also offered a randon test but "no randon kits on the truck." My HW tank was not purchased from DorMar because when my garbage disposal broke & needed replaced, I was quoted $900.00 over the phone.The disposal was replaced by a plumbing co. for 120.00. We are purchasing a new furnace & AC next year & it won't be through DorMar. Unfortunately, I won't even be finishing out my contract. The only positive was Anthony who was extremely nice & apologized numerous times for the misunderstanding. Definitely not his fault.

$900 outdoor garage faucet- we had a leaky faucet. Called DorMar- plumber came out fixed it and charged us $150 for service call and $750 for a new faucet. It seems like a steep price to fix it. Needless to say we will not be calling them in the future.

We also have a strict policy on all work that is preformed here at Dor-Mar. The pricing for a service call is discussed at time of booking, and the worked that was preformed was quoted and signed for before completion.

i wanted central air so i called them because of their experience of 62 years.they came and said i needed a new furnace too i paid 9k. they installed a furnace bigger than the one they to0k put so i have had nothing but problems from them. the furnace sounds awful and now all my ductwork is rattling becuase it fit a smaller furnace. they want me to pay u- fromt to come again but i have lost count as to how. many times they have come out. here so i will be calling another company to make corrections on this terri le excuse for hvac!! dont waste your time with dor mar also their office pady os nasty

Make sure prior to the job you discuss price, process and have it in writing. Our hot water tank needed a new valve which was covered under warranty. Our service maintence package with Dor Mar covered the first hour of labor for the repair. They sent me a bill for the hour labor it took them but I was told it was covered. Very discouraged by this and will be cautious with the next repair. Not good practice especially to a customer who bought the hot water tank through Dor Mar.

Dor Mar sent out a employee to drain my hot water heater as part of a maintenance program that I paid for. That employee spent most of the time walking around the inside of my house (my hot water tank is in the basement with an outside access only) taking pictures of all of my plumbing. He did not ask to do this he just started taking pictures saying he was supposed to. He opened my cabinet under my sink and wanted to know why I had a bucket there. (it was to carry cleaning supplies in when cleaning around the house)Then he told me that there was a problem with my tank since he emptied it and it was leaking. I asked him how much it would cost to fix it and he immediately said $2700.00. I told him just to turn the water off to the tank and to just leave. He had placed a bucket under where it was leaking, and he said I won't have hot water. If he turned it off. He then tightens the screw a little more and then it quit leaking.Another problem I had was I told him he could park beside the house (I showed him where) but for some reason he just wanted to walk through the front door and through the house and then out the back door. He did this about 3-4 times.Finally, when he was done, I opened the gate so that he wouldn't walk through my house again and he went straight to the front door saying he was so sorry, but he had lost all of the pictures that he took and had to come in to retake them all again. At this point I was ready to call the sheriff to escort him off the property. I did let him take the pictures and finally he was off.He was polite when talking to me I have no issues there, but all the other stuff was unnecessary... He was there to drain my hot water tank not to do a photo shoot. I will try to come to the office on Monday I am still extremely upset about this. IT IS NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!
