Installation and Compatibility

Preset Cleaning Cycle

The iWave-C includes a preset cleaning cycle that runs every five days. A manual cleaning cycle can be initiated by pressing the cleaning cycle test button on the unit’s front panel. During the cleaning cycle, the display indicates “CLEA”.The cleaning cycle may be reprogrammed to 1, 5, 10 or 20 days. Most installations will not need to deviate from the default five day cleaning cycle.

Three Year Limited Warranty

The iWave-C includes a limited warranty for three years that covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use. It’s rare, but to make a warranty claim you’ll need to provide proof of purchase and proof of proper installation by a licensed contractor. The iWave warranty doesn’t cover labor, return shipping charges, damage from improper installation or improper wiring/voltage usage. The warranty starts the date the unit was purchased. The warranty is voided if the unit is installed by anyone other than a licensed contractor.

That employee spent most of the time walking around the inside of my house (my hot water tank is in the basement with an outside access only) taking pictures of all of my plumbing. He did not ask to do this he just started taking pictures saying he was supposed to. He opened my cabinet under my sink and wanted to know why I had a bucket there. (it was to carry cleaning supplies in when cleaning around the house)Then he told me that there was a problem with my tank since he emptied it and it was leaking. I asked him how much it would cost to fix it and he immediately said $2700.00. I told him just to turn the water off to the tank and to just leave. He had placed a bucket under where it was leaking, and he said I won't have hot water. If he turned it off. He then tightens the screw a little more and then it quit leaking.Another problem I had was I told him he could park beside the house (I showed him where) but for some reason he just wanted to walk through the front door and through the house and then out the back door. He did this about 3-4 times.Finally, when he was done, I opened the gate so that he wouldn't walk through my house again and he went straight to the front door saying he was so sorry, but he had lost all of the pictures that he took and had to come in to retake them all again. At this point I was ready to call the sheriff to escort him off the property. I did let him take the pictures and finally he was off.He was polite when talking to me I have no issues there, but all the other stuff was unnecessary... He was there to drain my hot water tank not to do a photo shoot. I will try to come to the office on Monday I am still extremely upset about this.
