Legally we are not able to schedule anything without that documentation or consent straight from your sister. They admitted to it, which led to further issues. The bigger issue is that we had no heat after that for several days. I called Dor Mar three times after that to get them to urgently come and make repairs.–Feb 28: They said they would come and fix the issues but no one from Dor Mar came. So I called again.–Mar 1: A technician came and started to fix things. At that time, gas started leaking and smelling throughout the house. Therefore, he stopped the work and left the house. So i called again and asked for someone to come who knows what they are doing.–Mar 3: They finally came and fixed the issues. Heat didn’t start working again until Mar 3.During that time frame, employees Dave, Trevon, and Brad from Dor Mar because each of them worked on our house and not only did it take several tries, in between that time it caused us inconvenience from Feb 21 to Mar 3 because we didn’t have heat and the day of the gas leak we had to open all windows/doors in the entire house and air it out. This was all happening during a time when the weather was cold!!!I called their operations manager 3 times with no response and emailed them 2 times with no response. I would pay the bill but I was asking for a discount or some compensation for the gross negligence caused by lack of heat, and gas leakage. They provided no discount, no apologies for the issues caused, and no response to any of my inquiries.To this day, no one called me back. No one emailed me back. Instead, they kept sending me invoices every few days for the full amount to pay them which was close to $2000.I am disappointed in their customer service. I would summarize them as have poorly trained technicians and staff, and even worse management and leadership etiquette. I was unaware they now have plumbers that check only the HW tank. It was not communicated that only the HW tank was to be done today. In the past 2 of the 3 services were done together. I purchased a new HW tank on 5/19 & I didn’t need it checked. I was also offered a randon test but “no randon kits on the truck.” My HW tank was not purchased from DorMar because when my garbage disposal broke & needed replaced, I was quoted $900.00 over the phone.The disposal was replaced by a plumbing co. for 120.00. We are purchasing a new furnace & AC next year & it won’t be through DorMar. Unfortunately, I won’t even be finishing out my contract. The only positive was Anthony who was extremely nice & apologized numerous times for the misunderstanding. That employee spent most of the time walking around the inside of my house (my hot water tank is in the basement with an outside access only) taking pictures of all of my plumbing. He did not ask to do this he just started taking pictures saying he was supposed to. He opened my cabinet under my sink and wanted to know why I had a bucket there. (it was to carry cleaning supplies in when cleaning around the house)Then he told me that there was a problem with my tank since he emptied it and it was leaking. I asked him how much it would cost to fix it and he immediately said $2700.00. I told him just to turn the water off to the tank and to just leave. He had placed a bucket under where it was leaking, and he said I won’t have hot water. If he turned it off. He then tightens the screw a little more and then it quit leaking.Another problem I had was I told him he could park beside the house (I showed him where) but for some reason he just wanted to walk through the front door and through the house and then out the back door. He did this about 3-4 times.Finally, when he was done, I opened the gate so that he wouldn’t walk through my house again and he went straight to the front door saying he was so sorry, but he had lost all of the pictures that he took and had to come in to retake them all again. At this point I was ready to call the sheriff to escort him off the property. I did let him take the pictures and finally he was off.He was polite when talking to me I have no issues there, but all the other stuff was unnecessary… He was there to drain my hot water tank not to do a photo shoot. I will try to come to the office on Monday I am still extremely upset about this.
