DorMar Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of HVAC services in Central Ohio. We are seeking an HVAC Apprentice/Helper to join our team and assist our experienced technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Learn how to diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the problem and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to learn best practices in HVAC repair and maintenance

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some experience or coursework in HVAC is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as needed
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
