DorMar Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of HVAC-R services in Newark, Columbus, and all over Central Ohio. We are seeking a Lead Appliance Technician to join our team and oversee our appliance repair services.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of our appliance repair department
- Diagnose and repair a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and more
- Train and mentor other technicians to ensure high quality work and customer satisfaction
- Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the problem and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in appliance repair

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in appliance repair, including both diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and more
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train other technicians
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as needed
SALARY
Salary, Bonus + Commission
